In this episode of the wonderful community radio refugee worldwide we chat with the talented Ella Victoria, founder of gather.berlin about Ethiopian culture, stories about food traditions, and the ins and outs of Injera, alongside some amazing music from Ethiopian jazz and soul legends.
Food is meant to be shared
Part of what makes Ethiopian culture unique is food is meant to be shared. Rahel talks about her authentic Ethiopian cooking focusing on gluten-free and vegan foods and the benefits Teff, a gluten-free grain used primarily for Injera, the traditional Ethiopian pancake-like flatbread.

The Ethiopian experience is incomplete without coffee
Coffee is a very important part of Ethiopian culture and economy. At adot coffee we work with Ethiopian small holder farmers and roast the beans right here in Berlin.
“We both love providing people with the true Ethiopian experience from the coffee ceremonies to the food.”
